F-14 Tomcat on a carrier flight deck at sunset
The raised canopy and the last light behind the aircraft turn this F-14 into a silhouette. The flight deck and the sea are almost lost in shadow, leaving the Tomcat's shape against the evening sky.
Why the F-14 matters to me
I served in the U.S. Navy as an aircraft electrician and worked on F-14 Tomcats. The aircraft has a place in both my work history and my photography.
